Chiropractic is founded upon the vitalistic principle that the body is a self-healing organism.
Chiropractors locate, analyze, and adjust the misaligned areas of the spine to achieve optimal nervous system function.
The objective of the adjustment is to reduce stress to the nervous system caused by spinal and cranial misalignments. This allows the body to perform optimally and improve the potential for healing and wellness.

Yes, chiropractic care for babies is safe when performed by a trained and experienced chiropractor, such as those at North Sky Co. Pediatric chiropractic care uses gentle, specific techniques tailored to the delicate bodies of infants. Adjustments are much softer than those for adults—often involving light fingertip pressure—and are designed to address misalignments that may affect a baby’s nervous system or overall health.
Chiropractic care for babies can support issues like colic, breastfeeding challenges, reflux, constipation, sleep disturbances, and developmental milestones. It is also commonly sought after following birth to address any strain or misalignments caused by the delivery process.
Dr. Rebecca is specially trained to work with infants and will always prioritize your baby’s comfort and safety. If you have any questions or concerns, we’re happy to discuss them with you during a consultation. Your baby’s well-being is our top priority!

Webster-certified chiropractic care is a specialized technique that focuses on the alignment and function of the pelvis and sacrum, especially during pregnancy. This certification is granted to chiropractors who have undergone additional training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to safely and effectively care for pregnant patients.
The Webster Technique aims to reduce tension and misalignments in the pelvic region, which can improve the function of the nervous system and optimize uterine and pelvic balance. This may help create more space for the baby, improve maternal comfort, and support an easier labor and delivery process.
If you have questions about how Webster-certified chiropractic care could benefit you, feel free to contact us or book a consultation today!
